The XFTP TR-3™ signal level meter is an economical solution ideal for your basic HFC installation needs.

This simple to use meter provides fast and efficient measurements including; signal level measurement, tilt measurement to balance your system, and it features six Favorite channels and an extended battery life.

Weighing less than one pound, this simple to use, rugged meter has a durable plastic case and is convenient for one-hand operation.

The TR-3 is ready to use with the standard NCTA channel plan and includes a protective rubber bumper, carrying strap, charger, user’s manual, a spare F-type connector, and a one year warranty.

Measurements:

Digital channels and favorite channels may be set easily with the TR-3 or with optional Channel Editor Software.

Single Channel Mode displays the video or digital power level and frequency of the selected channel in the channel plan as well as Δ V/A for Analog channels. For digital channels QAM is displayed for channels that are designated as Digital channels in the channel plan.

Single Frequency Mode displays the frequency and level of the audio carrier for an analog channel, or the center frequency and level of a digital channel. The TR-3 can be manually tuned to any frequency (46 MHz to 1 GHz) in steps of 50 kHz, 100 kHz, 1 MHz, 10 MHz, or 100 MHz.

Favorites Mode displays the video or digital power levels of any six selected channels in the plan.

Tilt Mode displays the video or digital power level of the lowest channel in the Favorites mode and the level difference (tilt) between the lowest and highest favorite channels.

RETURNING A PRODUCT FOR SERVICE

Before Returning a Product for Service, please call the factory to obtain an RMA#.

When you call, a Representative will schedule your unit for service and take notes on the work to be done. Depending on instrument model and parts availability, some products may have 48 hour turnaround service on repairs.There is a charge for this premium service. Please contact the factory for more information.

Instructions:

  • Include your name, the correct address and phone number, RMA, and basic description of your problem.
  • If your company requires one, include your Purchase Order number for repairs. Be sure to send immediately so that your equipment return is not delayed.
  • Note "Special Instructions" on packaging list/repair tag
  • You may Request two-day or five-day service for an additional cost. Print "Two-day Service" or "Five-day Service" on carton and packaging list/repair tag.
  • Package your equipment carefully to ensure safe shipment.

WARRANTY INFORMATION

Repairs

All repairs carry a 90-day warranty against defects in replacement parts and repair workmanship.

Products

All XFTP products are warranted against defects in materials or workmanship for a minimum of one year after shipment.

The following products carry a Manufacturers Two Year Warranty

  • Model Two Lite

XFTP's obligation under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the product after being returned to our factory, and XFTP determining the product be indeed defective.

This is Trilithic's sole warranty and is given in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose and sets forth the buyers sole remedy.
